Once again we will be selling Earth Day t-shirts to raise money for the Nature Conservancy’s Adopt-An-Acre program. Their project 2010 focuses on Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, a region that is home to many plants and animals found nowhere else on Earth. This year’s t-shirt features artwork by senior Tanzi Jackson and can be ordered for $20 through March 24. The shirts will arrive in April and can be worn to school throughout Earth Month (except on dress uniform days). Through the years that we have participated in this important international program we have adopted 486 acres, and this year we hope to bring our total to well over 500.
